If you haven't replaced your breast form recently, there's a good chance you're entitled to do it at little or no out-of-pocket cost.

Through the Australian Government's External Breast Prostheses Reimbursement Program, mastectomy patients can claim a Medicare reimbursement of up to $400 toward a new or replacement external breast prosthesis — once every two years. For many of the silicone prostheses in our range, that covers the full cost entirely.

It's one of those things that's easy to put off, or simply not know about. If it's been a while since you last replaced yours, it's worth checking whether you're due.
